U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell spent nearly two hours at UW CSE on Saturday afternoon, along with staffers Dayna Lurie and Nate Caminos. The agenda:
- Ed Lazowska: student demand, workforce demand, diversity, and data science.
- Yoshi Kohno: cybersecurity.
- Alex Mariakakis: smartphone medical diagnostic apps.
- Steve Seitz: virtual reality.
