UW’s Passive Wi-Fi named one of the 10 breakthrough technologies of 2016
Passive Wi-Fi, a new low-power Wi-Fi communications system developed by researchers at UW CSE and EE, has been named one of MIT Technology Review’s 10 Breakthrough Technologies of 2016. UW CSE professor Emina Torlak has been named the recipient of the 2016 Dahl-Nygaard Junior Prize from the Association Internationale pour les Technologies Objets (AITO), an organization devoted to advancing research in object-oriented technology.
